Daniel Levy Finds Comfort from Wife as Tottenham Fans Employ Balloons in Protest Amidst Brentford Defeat

Tottenham fans continued their protests against chairman Daniel Levy with balloons in their 3-1 defeat to Brentford.

Supporters have shown increasing discontent towards Levy during a disastrous campaign – and his wife Tracy Dixon was seen consoling him on another dreadful afternoon for Spurs.

Spurs are eyeing European football next season, but their efforts have taken a huge hit as the Bees claimed three points.

Harry Kane gave the hosts the lead with a superb curling strike from dejan Kulusevski’s flick after a free-kick.

However, Bryan Mbeumo scored twice in 17 minutes after the start of the second-half to put the west London side in control.

Yoane Wissa made it game, set and match just moments before stoppage time, with Spurs left feeling sorry for themselves.

They remain seventh in the table but should Aston Villa beat Liverpool, they will drop to eighth and out of the European spots.

Spurs are approaching the end of a dismal season, with fans clearly unhappy with the club’s hierarchy.

Loud boos could be heard at the full-time whistle as their home campaign ended in more misery.

Brentford on the other hand are closing in on an impressive top half finish, a huge achievement considering they were playing Championship football in 2021.

Bees boss Thomas Frank gave Tottenham a taste of what could come as they claimed a thoroughly deserved win on the road.

talkSPORT understands the Dane is a contender to be the next man to take the reins at Spurs.

Frank has been a hugely impressive presence at Brentford in recent years, with the club shining in their second year in the Premier League.

Spurs could eye an appointment of the Dane this summer, but have had to deal with being on the wrong end of his managerial expertise for now.

They have one game left to play this season, a trip to a Leeds side who are fighting to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
