Erling Haaland’s end of season bonuses revealed as Man City superstar targets treble

Erling Haaland’s end of season bonuses have been revealed, with the Manchester City striker to be handsomely rewarded for his efforts.

In just his first season of Premier League football, Haaland has obliterated a number of goalscoring records and in a short while it looks like the trophies will flow in.

Haaland and City may have missed out on the first two prizes of the season, the Community Shield and the League Cup, but they still have the big three to go, and it’s hard to see who can stop them.

Meanwhile the big Norwegian himself had 51 goals in 46 games, and is similarly showing no signs of relenting after breaking England’s single-season goalscoring record.

All of that comes with its rewards too, with reports claiming that Haaland will earn a £1million bonus for a Premier League win, and the same figure for success in the Champions League.

With a treble up for grabs, victory against rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup final would add an extra £350,000 to the 22-year-old’s paypacket.

He will also match that figure by earning the Premier League’s Golden Boot, which is now a formality after making it a record 35 goals with six games still to play.

Individual awards will also bring income, with Haaland a shoo-in for the PFA Player of the Year, Football Writers’ Player of the Year and PFA Team of the Year.

And the biggest individual prize of them all, the Ballon d’Or, would pocket Haaland another £1m.

Haaland is understood to be the Premier League’s second-highest paid player after wingman Kevin De Bruyne, with his £375,000-a-week salary equating to £19.5m-a-year.

Adding around £5m on top of that, Haaland is certainly proving his worth, and City will be more than happy to pay for it, having spent just £51m on the striker last summer.
