Micah Richards Blast Richarlison for 'Ridiculous' Neymar’s Face Tattooed on His Back

After scoring Tottenham Hotspur's third goal during their 4-3 loss against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, Richarlison removed his shirt to celebrate and exposed his body art to the fans.

Despite trailing by three goals in the first 15 minutes of the first half, Spurs staged a late comeback with goals from Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son, and Richarlison, which seemed to have earned them a draw.

In the last minute of the match, Lucas Moura made a mistaken pass that was intercepted by Liverpool's Portuguese forward, Diogo Jota, who then calmly put the ball past Tottenham Hotspur's goalkeeper, Fraser Forster.

According to the Sun UK, despite having two previous goals disallowed for offside, the Brazilian player was unable to contain his excitement after scoring his first-ever Premier League goal following his £60 million transfer to Everton.

Richarlison, the former Everton striker, has numerous tattoos on his body, including one depicting himself sandwiched between Brazilian football legends Ronaldo Nazario and Neymar Junior.

However, former Manchester City defender Micah Richards expressed disapproval of Richarlison's decision to include a depiction of his teammate Neymar Junior in his body art.

"I mean, R9 [Ronaldo Nazario is] a legend of the game. Neymar has done very well for himself but why would you get him tattooed?" he said on BBC 5 Live's The Monday Night Club.

Richards conceded that Neymar was an outstanding player but believes having his face on Richarlison's back tattoo design was 'weird'.

"[Neymar is] still playing. I mean if it was like people who have retired I would get it, but Neymar's his teammate."

The BBC pundit likened the concept to getting a tattoo of Daniel Sturridge.

"I mean, I like him, I love him, he's a quality player but I'm not going to get a tattoo of him."
