Raphinha Reportedly Contemplating Departure from Barcelona After Current Season

Joaquim Piera of Diario Sport reported that Raphinha is giving serious thought to leaving Barcelona next season.

With the return of Ousmane Dembele and his probable selection as the primary right-winger, Raphinha is concerned that his position on the team will be reduced in the upcoming season.

During Dembele's injury absence, Raphinha has garnered praise from fans for his performance, having scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists. 

Nonetheless, next season he may be required to shift to the left flank or be relegated to a substitute role as Dembele is expected to be given preference.

Another concern for Raphinha is the potential loss of his spot in the Brazilian national team should he be relegated to the bench at Barcelona.

Barcelona has not initiated any talks regarding the sale of Raphinha, but they may consider offers around €90m if they receive any.

 Newcastle United and Arsenal are among the Premier League clubs that have been linked with the player.

Although Raphinha's family has adapted well to Barcelona and enjoys the city, the player values regular playing time over residing in a desirable location.

Barcelona has officially announced their intention to sell at least one attacker this summer, and while Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres were previously named as potential candidates, Raphinha has now been included on the list.
