Roberto Firmino prepared 200 gift boxes for friends and staff

Roberto Firmino has handed out 200 personalised gift boxes ahead of his final game for Liverpool.

Firmino is leaving the Reds after eight glorious years, with his contract up on 30 June. In his last ever appearance at Anfield, the Brazilian came off the bench to score the equaliser against Aston Villa on Saturday.

He then turned into an emotional wreck afterwards, bursting into tears at the final whistle as Liverpool fans serenaded him with the 'Si Senor' chant.

Liverpool held a special send-off event for the former Hoffenheim man, with captain Jordan Henderson leading the squad in a sing-song for the legendary No.9.

Firmino was also presented with a Liverpool shirt at the private meal but he too was in a giving mood. As per Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, the 31-year-old treated teammates, staff, friends and family to a present bundle to thank them for the role they played in his story.

The box, which had artwork to illustrate Firmino's trophy-laden stint with Merseyside, contained a signed Liverpool shirt and the player's very own perfume.

On Twitter, Plettenberg wrote: "He prepared 200 gift boxes for his farewell. He gave them to his guests on Sunday evening in Liverpool - including club employees, teammates, friends and family.

"The gifts included a special shirt signed by him and a specially created perfume by Firmino."

Firmino has made 361 appearances for the Reds, scoring 110 goals and winning every available trophy during his spell - including both the Premier League and Champions League.

He will play his final game against Southampton on Sunday before taking on a new challenge in the summer. Firmino has been heavily linked with a number of clubs but it's understood he has yet to begin talks with potential suitors as of yet.
