Hakim Ziyech in 'advanced talks' to leave Chelsea this summer

Hakim Ziyech is in 'advanced talks' to leave Chelsea this summer, according to reports.

Ziyech has been the subject of intense transfer speculation as a host of clubs have been keeping tabs on his situation at Stamford Bridge.

He moved to the Premier League outfit from Ajax in 2020 but played a bit-role this campaign.

The 30-year-old made 24 appearances in all competitions, including 18 league games - failing to score after bagging eight goals last season.

He was barely used by Graham Potter and continued to play second-fiddle under interim boss Frank Lampard.

Ziyech nearly joined Paris Saint-Germain during the January transfer window until the deal collapsed at the last minute.

But it appears he will get his move away from Chelsea, with reports claiming he's in negotiations to sign for Saudi Arabia side Al Nassr.

He's open to the move and is thought to be keen to play alongside former Manchester United and Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who, of course, moved to Al Nassr at the start of the year.

The Morocco international will likely be offered a lucrative contract to entice him to sign for Al Nassr, with the Blues willing to offload the player ahead of the new season.

If he decides to link up with Ronaldo, then it will bring an end to his career in Europe, having played for Heerenveen, Twente, Ajax and Chelsea.

Ziyech's teammate N'Golo Kante could also be heading to the Middle East, with Al Ittihad closing in on the signing of the diminutive midfielder.

Chelsea's Romelu Lukaku and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang are also being courted by Saudi clubs.
