Former Man United and England attacking midfielder,  Jesse Lingard   is considering a move to  Saudi Pro League this summer following his departure from Nottingham Forest.

Lingard  who parted ways with the Premier League side after just one year, having  become the highest-paid player with a reported weekly salary of £115,000. However, his performance in the league last season was lackluster, as he failed to score a goal or provide an assist in 17 appearances.

Now a free agent, Lingard spoke to Sky Sports on Tuesday and expressed his openness to joining a club in the Saudi Pro League.

"I'm considering all options," he said. "I've never ruled any club out. For me, it's just about picking the team that's right for me. I just want to play football at the end of the day."

The midfielder is currently in search of a new team to continue his career. Lingard's comments indicate his willingness to explore opportunities outside of the Premier League and potentially embrace a new challenge in a different league.

Jesse Lingard is on his third post-season holiday in Los Angeles after the former Manchester United star was released by Nottingham Forest.
