£86m world star Joao Felix trains in West Ham shirt after being offered to Newcastle with club looking to sell him
West Ham fans have started to dream about ex-Golden Boy Joao Felix pulling on a Hammers shirt next season after he was filmed wearing their third shirt while training ahead of the new season
West Ham fans have started to get excited over the potential signing of Joao Felix - after the Chelsea flop was snapped wearing a Hammers shirt.
Felix, who is on his way back to Atletico Madrid, was filmed warming up in West Ham's third kit - with Said Benrahma on the back. The Algerian then shared the video on his Instagram, with the caption: "My bro!"
The pair are close friends, and they posed in pictures together before - but that didn't stop West Ham fans from joking the former Golden Boy could be on his way to the London Stadium.
"He would actually thrive here playing with Benrahma and Lucas Paqueta in my opinion," one fan tweeted. While another said: "Sold a player to Arsenal and now they think they have the facilities!"
"I sometimes wear a Metallica shirt. That doesn’t mean they’re gonna ask me to replace Lars," one more pessimistic fan tweeted.
And another added: "More chance of me s****** Rihanna mate. It ain't happening!"

Felix had spent the last six months out on loan at Chelsea, but his future is currently in limbo with new Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino deciding not to sign the Portuguese star.
Atletico president Enrique Cerezo confirmed the Blues would not be signing Felix in May. He told Spanish media: "Yesterday we had the news that the new Chelsea manager [Pochettino] does not [want] João Félix.

"We've known for less than 24 hours. He'll come back here and we'll see. We don't have anything planned."
And according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Atleti are looking at offloading Felix this summer - who they signed for £114million back in 2019.
