Manchester United prospect Omari Forson lasted just 36 minutes during their pre-season friendly against Borussia Dortmund - and Erik ten Hag didn't hold back.
Erik ten Hag hauled off Manchester United prospect Omari Forson against Borussia Dortmund - and then offered stern advice.
The 19-year-old started in their Allegiant Stadium contest against the Bundesliga outfit, clashing with rival players in the first-half of their 3-2 defeat.
Forson dived in on a tackle against Karim Adeyemi and then seemed to kick out at Julian Ryerson, which didn't go down well to say the least. The German and Norwegian confronted the young Englishman before he received a booking for pushing out.
Ten Hag didn't look pleased on the sidelines and Forson was subbed off for Antony - giving the teenager a stern talking to on the sidelines.
Ten Hag later said: "When there is a VAR, he gets sent off.
"He played a good game and the opponent gets annoyed with him, so that is a learning curve but don't take it into your own hands.
"You can't be the judge, you have to play football, you have to beat your opponent, you have to net and that is the best way to react."

Forson, who was born in Hammersmith in 2004, spent time in the youth academies of West Ham and Tottenham before his 2019 switch to join United.
He has since played for their youth sides including the Under 21s last season, with eyes on making his senior debut in 2023/24.
The winger has scored twice in five games for England's Under 19s and played an important role for United in pre-season.

A goal from Youssoufa Moukoko and brace from Donyell Malen were enough to give Edin Terzic's side a win with United scoring through Diogo Dalot and Antony.
United have two more pre-season friendlies following previous wins over Leeds, Lyon and Arsenal as well as defeats to Wrexham and Real Madrid.
The Red Devils take on Lens and Athletic Bilbao, with their Premier League season kicking off against Wolves on August 14 at Old Trafford.
