Liverpool supporters concerned after Thiago 'removes reference to the club in his Instagram bio'
Liverpool fans have been split down the middle in a debate over the future of Thiago - with some fans saying the club would be 'mad' to let him go.
A much-debated post that said Thiago had removed 'LFC' from his Instagram bio has had responses ranging from claims he never had it in to it being removed months ago - with others just gutted that he might be leaving.
The 32-year-old Spain international has struggled with fitness and form since joining the club from Bayern Munich in 2020 - and hasn't been a key player in the kit launch for the new season.
One a year remains on his contract - and one curious fan then pointed out: "Just realised I haven't seen Thiago in ANY of the new kit photos..."
A sad fan replied: "He’s one of the very best out there, mad to let him go."
A second agreed: "One of my favourite players here might be leaving, I wish him the best."
A third posted: "Don't be fooled, he's still our best midfielder and one of the best in the world."

However, others haven't been so worried about his potential exit, looking at the club to sign a replacement.
One said: "Good cash in while we can, 200k a week, injury prone, too slow, best years behind him."
A second posted: "He’s a luxury player at this stage anyway."
A third agreed: "Completely understandable if either of the parties want to move on from each other."
One potential destination for Thiago is Saudi Arabia, with Karim Benzema joining Cristiano Ronaldo in the Middle East this summer.
Steven Gerrard is also set to take over at Al Ettifaq - and might just fancy offering up a bumper deal.
