The 21-year-old opened the scoring for Arsenal at SoFi Stadium to cancel out Robert Lewandowski’s opener.
A poor penalty later on from Saka meant the scores stayed level before a deflected Raphinha free-kicked gave the Spanish side the lead.
The younger Englishman had his head in his hands after drilling the penalty well-wide of Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s goal.
However, he made up for the miss with some brilliant play in the lead up to Havertz’ goal, with Arsenal’s midfield linking up well throughout.
The equaliser signals Havertz second goal since his signing from Chelsea and prompted some excitement among Arsenal fans.
One fan said: "Kai really comes alive as a player in the box. You almost don't notice him until it comes to the finishing moment. Moves like a proper striker."
Another wrote: "Havertz deserves that!"
A third quipped: "Chelsea fans you can go sleep now my boy Havertz scored."
