Alejandro Garnacho gets new Man United jersey number - not Greenwood's 11

Alejandro Garnacho is set to be announced as Manchester United’s new number 17.

His brother confirmed this on X with a picture of the United attacker wearing the jersey departed by Fred.

Garnacho was a leading candidate to pick up the No. 7 shirt which surprisingly went to Mason Mount.

It was even suggested that the Argentinean would swap 49 with Mason Greenwood's 11.

Although, no official announcement has been made, it seems he will take up 17.
