Barcelona are expected to announce the departure of Ousmane Dembele this week, with Paris Saint-Germain close to finalizing a deal for the 26-year-old. If/when Dembele leaves, Barcelona may look to sign a replacement right winger, and one of the names on their list is Jeremy Doku.
Doku, a 21-year-old Belgian international who plays for Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais, is also a target for Manchester City, who are looking for a replacement for Riyad Mahrez.
Barcelona already have Raphinha, Ferran Torres, and Lamine Yamal at the club, so a new right winger should not be high on the list of their priorities at this stage. Additionally, it is unlikely that Barcelona would be able to compete with Manchester City for Doku, should the Premier League champions pursue that deal. As a result, a move for Doku would make little sense for the Blaugrana.
