BREAKING: Neymar officially signs for Al Hilal

Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal have confirmed Neymar as their latest signing in a video on Twitter.

The Brazil international has agreed a two-year deal with the Saudi Pro League giants, claim Sky News.

Neymar signed for PSG for a world-record £222 million in 2017, but is now set to embark on the next chapter of his career as he undergoes a medical with Al Hilal.

The move will bring to an end a six-year spell at Parc des Princes, where the 31-year-old failed to win either the Champions League title or Ballon d'Or, that was once tipped to achieve in France.

Injuries have heavily restricted his game time in recent seasons, and he made just 20 Ligue 1 appearances last term.

Neymar will receive between 300 and 500 million dollars for the entirety of his contract, which is spread over two years.

In addition to his salary, the superstar will be given a private jet for his travels and a luxurious villa with his own staff in which he can live in with his partner.

Neymar, like Cristiano Ronaldo before him, will be given an exemption to allow him to live with his partner, despite the two not being married. It is illegal in Saudi Arabia for couples to live together if they are not married.

Neymar Jr leaves Paris Saint-Germain to sign for Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal. In six seasons in the capital, the Brazilian international left his mark on the history of the Club.

In addition to the jet and house, the Brazilian will be given an 85,000 dollars bonus for each match won, and another bonus of 550,000 dollars for each social media post that promotes Saudi Arabia.

Neymar becomes the latest global soccer star to join the Saudi Arabian league, following the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Riyad Mahrez, and others.
