Daniel Sturridge sings Usher in front of Roy Keane on Super Sunday, football is officially back
During Super Sunday's broadcast, Daniel Sturridge showcased his singing talent with a rendition of Usher's hit track "Nice & Slow." However, Roy Keane appeared less than impressed by the performance.

Ahead of the upcoming 2023/24 season, it was revealed that 33-year-old Sturridge would be joining the Sky Sports presenting team. This decision followed his successful TV debut in April.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Sturridge stated, "I'm eager to leverage my on-field experience and provide viewers at home with valuable insights," in response to the announcement.

Throughout Sunday's match between Chelsea and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, the former England international offered insightful analysis. He also engaged in entertaining discussions alongside fellow pundits Micah Richards and Roy Keane, with one moment in particular gaining significant attention.

As evident from the video footage below, Sturridge decided to conclude Super Sunday with a musical performance, which garnered a mixed reception.

Furthermore, in the attached clip, Keane could be seen wearing a wry smile as Sturridge mimicked a baby while standing alongside the former Manchester United captain.

Having secured two Champions League titles, one Premier League title, and two FA Cups, Sturridge was released from Australian A-League team Perth Glory last year. Now, the enigmatic striker will join the ranks of Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, and Jamie Redknapp as a pundit.

Super Sunday proved to be thoroughly entertaining, with one of the standout moments occurring during halftime at Stamford Bridge. Millions witnessed Roy Keane's cameo in Sky Sports' latest advertisement.

Prior to the new season, Keane participated in the 'Greatest Show on Earth' commercial alongside figures like Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland. The ad also featured F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, England cricket captain Ben Stokes, and Idris Elba in the role of a ringmaster, renowned for his portrayal in Luther.

In the advertisement, Elba approached former United midfielder Roy Keane, who sported clown makeup, much to his displeasure.

Several weeks after the initial broadcast of the ad, the Sky Sports studio members reacted to Keane's memorable cameo. Micah Richards, Daniel Sturridge, and presenter David Jones anticipated Keane's response. To their credit, he took the jest in stride.

Richards chuckled, "Looks like red nose day has come early. All that's missing are some size 20 boots."
