Ousmane Dembele to train with Barcelona on Sunday as PSG move remains on hold
Ousmane Dembele is set to train with Barcelona on Sunday, as his move to Paris Saint-Germain remains on hold.
The French champions activated Dembele's release clause last weekend, but the two clubs are still haggling over the transfer fee. Barcelona are reportedly demanding more than €25 million, while PSG are only willing to pay €20 million.
As a result, Dembele is still technically a Barcelona player and will be required to train with the Catalan club until the transfer is completed. He is expected to be present at training on Sunday evening, ahead of the Joan Gamper Trophy match against Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday.
Dembele is said to be growing increasingly frustrated with the delay in his move to PSG, but he is determined to join the French club as soon as possible. It remains to be seen when the transfer will be finalized, but it is unlikely to happen before the Joan Gamper Trophy match.
In the meantime, Dembele will have to put his disappointment aside and focus on his training with Barcelona. He will need to be in top form if he wants to make a big impact at PSG next season.
