Lionel Messi let previous Inter Miami captain DeAndre Yedlin lift the trophy following the club's win over Nashville in the Leagues Cup final.
Messi scored his 10th goal in seven games for his new side as they played out a 1-1 draw with Nashville, sending the game into a penalty shootout.
Inter Miami won the shootout 10-9 after Drake Callender saved Elliot Panicco's spot-kick.
It's the first trophy for the club since being formed in 2020, with Messi sharing the trophy celebration with Yedlin in a classy gesture.
The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner, who replaced Yedlin as captain following his arrival, let the American player lift the trophy following their victory.
A video also shows the Argentine putting the armband on the former Tottenham and Newcastle United right-back before the trophy lift.
