VIDEO; Viral Video of Jean-Clair Todibo Demonstrates His Perfect Fit for Man Utd Amidst Ongoing Transfer Rumors
Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice - and a viral clip has resurfaced that shows what he can bring to the side.
The 23-year-old is a target for Erik ten Hag if Harry Maguire leaves Old Trafford this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
He joined Nice from Barcelona in the summer of 2021, and has been a reliable presence in the centre of defence.
He is yet to make his senior debut for France, but was called up to the squad for March's European Championship qualifiers, and has experience of Champions League football.
Opportunities were relatively sparse for Todibo at Barcelona - he made only four La Liga appearances in two seasons - but he did get a first taste of European football at the highest level.
He started a group stage fixture against Inter Milan in December 2019 as part of a three-man central defence - and left onlookers in no doubt as to his talent and potential.
With Barcelona already through at the time the game was played, manager Ernesto Valverde decided to give opportunities to young players.
And 19-year-old Todibo was one of the starlets that benefitted from that decision, with one clip showing exactly what the France defender was capable of.
After receiving the ball with his body pointing sideways towards his own goal, Todibo took it into his stride before producing a turn that floored Inter striker Lautaro Martinez.
When he got back up to his feet, Todibo shielded the ball from the Argentinian before showing off his close control skills.
He embarked on a mazy run up the field, passing the halfway line, before producing a pass with the outside of his boot to Carles Perez on the right side of midfield.

While Ten Hag demands his defenders to defend first and foremost, he also wants them to show composure on the ball as well.
With goalkeeper Andre Onana, signed from Inter Milan this summer, displaying a far more aggressive style to that of his predecessor David de Gea, the shift in thinking by the Dutchman from a tactical standpoint is clear - and Todibo could be an ideal addition.
