Declan Rice wins Arsenal's Player of the Month award for August heroics

Arsenal have announced that Declan Rice has won their Player of the Month award for August 2023.

The Englishman won the vote-based poll after supporters deemed him as the best player from the first month of the 2023/24 Premier League season.

Rice produced some brilliant performances for the Gunners in his first few league games for Arsenal.

Alongside his impressive display in the Community Shield win over Man City, the midfielder also excelled in the first three Premier League games.

He won possession 17 times, and also made nine tackles and four interceptions in the three games.

Rice won 56% of the votes in the poll, beating out teammates like Bukayo Saka and William Saliba.
