Man Utd have already received offers for Jadon Sancho after Erik ten Hag dispute

Several clubs have enquired over the possibility of signing Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, according to a new report.

The winger was left out of United's squad to take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, with Erik ten Hag's side falling to a 3-1 defeat.

After the match, Ten Hag stated that Sancho's absence for the clash was due to training performances (quotes via Sky Sports): "Jadon, on his performances in training we did not select him.

"You have to reach a level every day at Manchester United and we can make choices in the front line. So for this game, he was not selected."

But Sancho publicly disputed his manager's version of events with a statement posted on social media on Sunday night.

He wrote: "Please don't believe everything you read!

"I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue. I have conducted myself in training very well this week.

"I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won't go into, I've been a scapegoat for a long time which isn't fair!"

Club sources, meanwhile, have said (as per The Guardian) that there is 'nothing to add' to Ten Hag's comments.

And according to a new report, the club have already fielded enquiries about a potential transfer for Sancho.

Man Utd 'field enquiries' over Jadon Sancho transfer

90min claim that United would have considered offers for the England international winger in the summer, given their difficult financial position. However, the opportunity for a move to most European clubs has now passed due to the closing of the transfer window.

But the window remains open, among other countries, in Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

And it is the latter that is said to have serious interest in signing Sancho, with 90min reporting that several Turkish Super Lig clubs have enquired about completing a deal for the 23-year-old.

As Turkey's transfer window closes on September 15, any interested club has ample time to complete a deal with United.

But, of course, United would be unable to replace Sancho until January, given that the transfer window in England has already slammed shut.

90min add that United believe Sancho's 'situation' is fixable, and will not allow the player to leave in an exit where they would have to 'financially contribute to the player playing elsewhere'.
