One Celtic fan left talkSPORT listeners stunned after claiming Scotland have a player "better than Jude Bellingham".
Bellingham put on an absolute masterclass during England's 3-1 win over Scotland at Hampden Park on Tuesday, which marked the 150th anniversary of the first ever international fixture.
After Phil Foden put the Three Lions ahead, Bellingham arrived minutes later to double England's advantage with a sweeping finish.
The 20-year-old then turned on a sixpence before sliding an inch-perfect pass into Harry Kane who restored his country's two-gaol deficit following Harry Maguire's unfortunate own-goal.
Fans made their way to social media to heap praise on the midfielder, with plenty believing he can lead England to glory at next summer's European championships in Germany.
Bellingham's performance follows on from an incredible start to life at Real Madrid, where he's scored five goals in his first four games and won the La Liga Player of the Month for August.
However, one Celtic fan named David believes Scotland have a "better player" in the shape of Brighton' Billy Gilmour.
Phoning into talkSPORT ahead of kick-off, Celtic and Scotland supporter, David, said: "We've got the best midfielder in Britain at the moment in Billy Gilmour. Right now, right at this moment, Billy Gilmour is the best central midfielder in Britain.
When asked if he was better than Bellingham, the fan replied: "For what he does, yes."
"I promise you, watch the boy. At Chelsea he was unlucky because [Graham] Potter signed him and then Potter moved to Chelsea. Had Potter not done that, he would have stayed at Chelsea.
David was then asked to choose who he would sign out of Bellingham and Gilmour for his beloved Celtic, to which he replied, admittedly after some hesitation, "Gilmour".
Both talkSPORT co-hosts, Darren Bent and Andy Goldstein were left visibly baffled by David's comments, with Bent calling it "bonkers".
Perhaps, Bellingham's Player of the Match performance against Scotland will have persuaded David to think again.
