Liverpool are eyeing the signing of a new centre-back in 2024, claims Goal’s Neil Jones.
The Reds are aware of the need for a quality centre-back to provide more depth to that position in the squad.
Liverpool currently have three centre-back targets that they are considering to sign.
This includes Benfica defender Antonio Silva, Bayer Leverkusen man Piero Hincapie and Sporting Lisbon defender Goncalo Inacio.
Liverpool are going to consider two factors in deciding if they really want to sign any of these three targets in January.
Firstly, it would be dependent on whether all their centre-backs are fit or not and if these targets are available for affordable prices in mid-season.
