Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya was the winner of the Premier League Golden Glove award for the 2023/24 season.

The Spaniard finished with 16 clean sheets, underlining the Gunners' defensive strength throughout a campaign in which they finished second in a title race won by Manchester City.

At the start of the 2024/25 season, Raya was considered the favorite to retain the Golden Glove, with Manchester City’s Ederson and Liverpool’s Alisson expected to be his main rivals. However, Arsenal’s early inconsistencies allowed unexpected contenders like Andre Onana of Manchester United and Matz Sels of Nottingham Forest to emerge in the race.

Everton’s Jordan Pickford, who was runner-up in the 2023/24 Golden Glove race with 13 clean sheets, remains a strong contender this season, continuing to showcase his reliability for the Toffees.
