Luis Suarez scores hat-trick in 19 minutes to beat Botafogo

Luis Suarez scored a remarkable hat-trick in just 19 minutes to help Gremio come from behind and beat Brazilian Serie A leaders Botafogo 4-3 on Thursday.

Suarez opened the scoring in the 50th minute, before adding two more goals in quick succession to put Gremio 3-1 up. Botafogo pulled two goals back, but Suarez completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute to seal the victory for his side.

The Uruguayan striker has been in sensational form for Gremio this season, scoring 23 goals and providing 18 assists in 48 appearances.

Gremio are now second in the Serie A table, but Botafogo have a game in hand.
