Vinicius and Rodrygo to outscore Bellingham this season, says Ancelotti
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has backed Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes to outscore Jude Bellingham over the course of this season.
The two Brazilians have had a relatively slow start to the campaign, but Ancelotti is confident that they will come good and finish the season with more goals than Bellingham, who has hit the ground running at the Bernabeu.
"I think Rodrygo and VinÃcius are going to score more goals during the season," Ancelotti told reporters ahead of Sunday's LaLiga game against Rayo Vallecano.
"They'll score more than Bellingham and Joselu. We don't have any doubts about that."
Vinicius has just three goals in 10 appearances for Real Madrid this season, while Rodrygo has netted only twice in 14 games.
Bellingham, on the other hand, has hit 13 goals in his opening 13 games for Real Madrid, including both in last weekend's dramatic late win away to Barcelona in El Clasico.
Ancelotti is confident that Vinicius and Rodrygo will eventually come into their own and start scoring more goals.
"They are both very young players with a lot of potential," he said. "They have already shown some of their quality this season, but they can do even better.
"I am sure that they will score more goals in the second half of the season and help us to win more trophies."
