Mali have won the U17 World Cup bronze!

The African side beat Argentina to finish third at the tournament.

The team's standout player was midfielder Ibrahim Diarra who will reportedly join Barcelona in 2024. The 16-year-old captain finished the campaign with 5 goals and 4 assists in just 7 games which is truly impressive.

The teenager's performance is described as 'phenomenal in every game'. He created multiple chances while also being fantastic at dribbling and winning duels.

Diarra currently plays for Malian side Africa Foot. He turns 18 in December 2024 – that's when he will be eligible to sign for Barca.

The U17 World Cup final will take place today Saturday, December 2, at 13:00 CET. France will take on Germany with Barca's Noah Darvich in squad.
