Ten Hag makes plea to Man United fans: ‘You have to see the bigger picture

Erik ten Hag doesn’t appear to be that bothered with the loss to Fulham and doesn’t believe it will crumble Man United’s entire season.

After the match, he said: “You have to see the bigger picture. The bigger picture looks very good. After a slow start we came into the game. By the end, we deserved to win. But you have to take the win by scoring goals.

“Definitely we are in the right direction. When we have the players in the squad available we have a good team.”

Man United are being troubled with injury woes all throughout the 2023/24 season, with the likes of Rasmus Hojlund, Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw being ruled out for this game.

However, the Red Devils arguably had the quality needed to defeat Fulham and this loss now leaves them eight points behind the Premier League top-4.
