QPR set to rival Coventry City in signing Nigerian striker from Chelsea

Ike Ugbo from Chelsea in the upcoming transfer window, according to a report in England.

The 21-year-old was on loan at Dutch second-tier side FA Roda where he scored 13 goals in 28 league matches and produced three assists until the season was cancelled last month because of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to The Sun claim that Championship side QPR and League one outfit Coventry City are ready to battle each other for Chelsea whizkid who has been rated as one of the top young prospects at Stamford Bridge.

It has been suggested that the Nigerian descent will cost £2.5 million (approximately N1.28 billion in Nigerian currency), though he is surprisingly valued at 400,000 euros by Transfermarkt.

Ugbo has been on the books of Chelsea since the age of nine has previously spent time on loan at Barnsley, MK Dons and Scunthorpe United but his currently contract with with the Blues set to expires next summer.
