Barcelona chiefs considering the sale of Manchester United target Ansu Fati

Barcelona chiefs are considering the sale of Manchester United target Ansu Fate to the Red Devils.

Manchester United is interested in signing the Barcelona teenager and they have two offers of €100m and €150m rejected by Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu.

The report in ABC claims that there are debates in the Barcelona boardroom as to whether to sale Fate as they want Manchester United to make an improved offer for Fati.

Barcelona had a deficit of €70m in their books due to the coronavirus impact and a failure to raise funds from sales.

With the long talks over the transfer of Jean-Clair Todibo, Philippe Coutinho, Ivan Rakitic and Rafinha, Barcelona is now faced with the option to cash in on Fati to cover their debts, the attacker’s contract currently carries a buyout clause of €170m.
