Benedito reveals Rosell and Bartomeu have overtaken Gaspart as the worst president of Barca

Benedito believes that Barca are at their worst in recent history and the presidential candidate says the club is in huge debt.

"We are in a very worrying situation, perhaps the worst in recent history. The institution is at very worrying levels, especially in debt," presidential candidate Augusti Benedito has told Radio Marca.

"[Sandro] Rosell and [Josep Maria] Bartomeu have already overtaken [Joan] Gaspart as the worst president of Barca. We all remember what club he took and how he is going to leave it to the next board.

"It is much more worrying that Bartomeu signs a loan of 800 million euros than a new coach. It is very difficult to bring in a prestigious coach if you are only going to give him a one-year contract."

Benedito will be one of the persons running for club presidency in March 2021. As a reminder, Bartomeu can no longer run for office.
