Paris Saint-Germain consider signing Luis Suarez in case he will be released by Barcelona, Diario Sport claim.

He would replace Mauro Icardi, who's seen as not good enough to continue as the team's starting striker.

The Ligue 1 outfit tried to sign the Uruguay international two years ago at the recommendation of his former teammate Neymar.

However, the Parisians haven't yet contacted the player and will wait for his situation at Camp Nou to be resolved first.

Meanwhile, Suarez is said to have received offers from the Premier League, Serie A, MLS, Asia and even from his former club Ajax.

Ronald Koeman is said to have informed 'El Pistolero' that he's not part of his plans for the next season and that he will need to find a new team.
