Chelsea are actively in contact with several clubs over Fikayo Tomori loan

The club has strong reasons to believe the promising centre-back would benefit from a temporary move.

Chelsea are actively looking to find a club for Fikayo Tomori to join on loan, French newspaper L'Equipe claims.

Rennes are known to be interested in the 22-year-old, but Marina Granovskaia is not making it an easy negotiation for them, as per the report.

The Chelsea director is in contact with several clubs who might be keen on the player who barely featured since the turn of the year.

After a bright first half of the season, Tomori only played 244 minutes of football in 2020, partly because of injuries and partly because of falling behind Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Kurt Zouma in the pecking order.

Chelsea appear to be actively looking for a centre-back which means Tomori would need to leave to play regularly.
