Neymar's ex-agent Wagner Ribeiro reveals he Neymar wanted to return to Barcelona or go to Madrid'

Neymar signing for the Blancos was apparently a possibility, However, the Brazilian now looks set to stay at PSG.

Speaking to Placar, Neymar's former agent Wagner Ribeiro said: "There was a time when Neymar was sad because of his injuries. He was prone to leaving, to return to Barcelona or go to Real Madrid.

"But not today. Today without a doubt, its easier for Lionel Messi to go to Paris Saint-Germain than for Neymar to return to Barcelona. Today Neymar is superior to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, technically and physically.

"Certainly Ballon d'Or will be between Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Robert Lewandowski. Messi and Cristiano [could even go to PSG]. I'm serious, you can't doubt Qatar's economic power."

Signing Neymar is no longer a possibility for the Blancos due to the financial strain brought by the ongoing renovation of the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Brazilian, meanwhile, will have a chance to win his second Champions League title on Sunday with PSG face Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
