Chelsea has officially sign Barcelona tip Young Van Dijk "Mbuyamba" on a free transfer

Xavier Mbuyamba has officially joined Chelsea after leaving Barcelona after his contract expired in July and has signed a three-year deal with the Blues.

The promising defender has signed a three-year deal with the Premier League giant.

The 18-year-old has been already described as the 'next Virgil van Dijk' thanks to his long-ball game, aerial game and impressive 1.95m height

The centre-back reportedly decided to leave the Catalan club when he wasn't promoted to Barcelona B.

It's not the first time Barca are parting ways with a homegrown player as they lost Xavi Simons to Paris Saint-Germain last year. Just like Mbuyamba, Xavi left for free.
