Luis Enrique backs Ronald Koeman: 'It's never the worst moment to coach Barcelona'

Former Blaugrana head coach Luis Enrique says it's an immense joy to work at Barcelona and He believes Koeman and the Catalan club have the same mentality.

"Coaching Barca is an immense joy, it is never the worst moment. Then you have to manage it but these are days when there is always sun." Luis Enrique told Diario AS on Ronald Koeman's appointment as Barca's new manager.

The Blaugrana great added: "Koeman has the Dutch mentality, very similar to that of Barca."

Koeman was confirmed as Barca's new head coach this Wednesday. He signed a two-year deal with the Catalan club.

The Dutchman is expected to have full control over the club's signings and departures this transfer window as a massive exodus could be on the cards with 17 players believed to be on the market.
