Coutinho has revealed post-match conversation with Neymar after Bayern defeat

Coutinho congratulated the fellow countryman on his great season with PSG and he also backed him to become the best player in the world.

"I've told Neymar that he has had a great season and that he's a magnificent player," Philippe Coutinho told Movistar after the Champions League final between Bayern and Paris Saint-Germain.

The fellow Brazilian added: "I'm sure that he will fight for this competition on more occasions, and also for becoming the best player in the world."

Neymar was pictured crying inconsolably after the Bavarians beat the Parisians in the Champions League final.
