Everton emerge as favorite to land Real Madrid Star James Rodriguez

The Colombian has struggled for game time under Zidane but could join the Toffees to reunite with Ancelotti.

As reported by The Telegraph, Everton have earmarked James Rodriguez as a priority target this transfer window.

The Toffees' boss Carlo Ancelotti has worked with Rodriguez during their time together at Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. In fact, the duo share a close bond.

And it would make sense for the playmaker to exit the Santiago Bernabeu since he doesn't seem to be part of Zinedine Zidane's plans for the near future.

The Telegraph goes on to add that Ancelotti would love to sign James and the Premier League club have already contacted Madrid regarding a move.
