Ex-Juventus director Moggi believes Barcelona benefit more from swap deal

Luciano Moggi claims that the Arthur will serve as a substitute for his new side.

Miralem Pjanic is a better player technically, he claims.

"Arthur will be a benchwarmer at Juventus," former Juve sporting director Luciano Moggi has suggested in a talk with the media.

"I prefer Pjanic. For me, Pjanic is better than Arthur technically. Arthur is good but slow. I don't think he will come to Juve to play as a starter, he hasn't improved his play much. He is a player who is possibly a substitute," he predicted.

Only time will tell whether Moggi's predictions are right. All we know is that our Bosnian newcomer certainly has fewer years of quality football to give since he's already 30.

Pjanic has made twice as more league appearances than the Brazilian, averaging a much higher number of key passes (1.9 vs 0.6 via WhoScored), passes (63.6 vs 48.4) and long balls per game (3.3 vs 1.9).
