The Napoli midfielder has been Barca's rumoured target for a while now and his agent has confirmed the interest saying that the Catalans will bid for the 24-year-old in 2021.
Real Madrid are also interested, he claims.
"Barca and Real [Madrid] are interested in Fabian and will try to sign him in 2021, but we are not in a hurry to make a decision, Fabian is a committed player and gives everything he has wherever he goes and Napoli know it very well," the player's agent has told Calciomercato.
The 24-year-old was heavily linked with the Barca move about a year ago but he preferred to stay put for a while.
The attack-minded midfielder has had another impressive campaign with Napoli, scoring 4 goals and providing 6 assists.
