Real Madrid has Revealed new Santiago Bernabeu will be Madrid’s main weapon against Covid-19

When the new Bernabeu opens in June 2022, things should get back to normal and fans will be allowed to pack the stadium.

Real Madrid has had to endure massive losses during the Covid-19 period as they’ve been denied matchday sales in recent months.

But the new Santiago Bernabeu – expected to be completed by June 2022 - will be their own money-making machine when things should get back to normal.

Los Blancos are expected to make more than €300m from yearly matchday revenue thanks to their new stadium, as compared to €150m which they made before beginning the renovation process.

The stadium’s model will be similar to that used by NFL side Dallas Cowboys and will even have a rooftop terrace where visitors can enjoy the best luxury 365 days a year.

Moreover, the pitch at the new Bernabeu can easily be converted to host concerts and help the club gain even more finances from the stadium itself.
