Carles Perez has confirmed that he has tested positive for COVID-19 during the examination he passed ahead of the pre-season at AS Roma.
The former Barcelona player is asymptomatic and has already self-isolated at home.
The 22-year-old joined the Giallorossi on loan last January and the club eventually triggered their €11m buy option.
Last season, he managed a total of 29 matches, four goals and six assists for the two clubs.
Meanwhile, current Blaugrana players Jean-Clair Todibo, Samuel Umtiti and Miralem Pjanic have also gone down with the virus.
