Motion of no confidence against Barcelona President Bartomeu to be presented on August 28

Several anti-Bartomeu forces have joined together to get the president out of office.

A motion of no confidence against Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu will be officially filed on Friday, August 28, Diario AS journalist Javi Miguel reports.

In order for it to be successful, 16,000 signatures are needed; the activists will start collecting them right away.

Ant-Bartomeu groups like Cor Blaugrana, Compromissaris FCB, Dignitat Blaugrana, El Senyor Ramon and others will work together.

They wil be supported by presidential candidates Victor Font, Jordi Farre and Lluis Fernandes-Ala.

It's expected that the activists will hold a press conference at 10:30 am CEST during which more details will be unveiled.

Bartomeu has already survived a motion of no confidence after presidential candidate Agusti Benedito failed to gather the necessary number of signatures back in 2017.
