Koeman on Coutinho's future: He is a Barcelona player and we need to make a decisions

Coutinho will return to Barcelona from his loan at Bayer Munich at the end of the month.

He's been linked with further loans as no clubs are willing to meet Barca's €80m asking price.

The Blaugrana's new boss doesn't rule out the Brazilian's stay at Camp Nou for the 2020/21 campaign.

"Coutinho? He is a Barca player and if we have to make decisions, we will make them," Ronald Koeman said during his unveiling as a new Barcelona manager.

"I have time to get to know the young people out there better."

The Brazilian spends the season on loan at Bayern Munich. The Bavarians have refused to trigger his buy-out clause so the 28-year-old will return to Camp Nou at the end of the season.

No clubs across Europe seem to be ready to meet Barca's €80m asking price for Coutinho. Thus, he's been linked with further loans to Arsenal and Tottenham.

Mundo Deportivo, on the other hand, have recently suggested that the midfielder could be given a 'second chance' at Barcelona with the arrival of a new manager.
