Nacho seek move away from Spain as he doesn't want to play against Real Madrid

Nacho appears to be likely to leave the club after falling down the pecking order at Santiago Bernabeu this season.

The Spaniard, who has been part of the set up at Real Madrid since 2001, doesn't want to play against his boyhood club, according to AS.

With the 30-year-old not contemplating singing for another La Liga side, joining Benfica appears to be the most likely option for the experienced centre-back.

Last season, Nacho featured in featured in just 10 games in all competitions due to a string of injuries. The defender's contract at the Bernabeu expires in the summer of 2022.
