Revealed: Two Chelsea player whose transfer valuation rose after football return

The coronavirus pandemic has wrecked the transfer market, but two Chelsea player actually saw their value rise despite the prolonged break in football!

Mateo Kovacic
Arguably Chelsea's best midfielder of the season, Kovacic's valuation (according to Transfermarkt) is now £36M - a £3.6M increase since April, which was back when the footballing world was uncertain about the return of the beautiful game.

Christian Pulisic
With 11 goals and 10 assists in his debut Chelsea season, you can argue that the US international was the Blues' player of the season.

Pulisic's valuation was £48.6M in April, but it has jumped to £54M since the return of football. If you do offer just that much for the talented player though, Frank Lampard and Roman Abramovich will laugh their guts out at you!
