Revealed: Willian received two-year offers from Man Utd, Man City before Arsenal move

Manchester United and Manchester City were among the clubs who attempted to sign Willian this summer.

The 32-year-old agreed a three-year deal with Arsenal last week after leaving Chelsea.

The Blues refused to offer more than two years to the winger, and they weren't the only ones.

ESPN Brasil says Bayern Munich, United and City all offered two-year deals to the Selecao star.

Tottenham were also linked but there was never an offer from Daniel Levy.

The report states Willian was surprised by Chelsea's stance as he would have preferred to stay at Stamford Bridge.

Now he will lace his boots on the other side of London for the Gunners next season.
