Zidane has reportedly stopped the signing of Sergio Ramos replacement at Madrid

Real Marid boss Zidane believes that the centre-back is irreplaceable.

Sergio Ramos is officially entering the final year of his Real Madrid contract with talks over a new Santiago Bernabeu deal ongoing.

According to DefensaCentral, a tier-three source, Zinedine Zidane is against the idea of signing a direct replacement for the Spaniard.

The Frenchman has reportedly told president Florentino Perez that the centre-back is irreplaceable and there's simply no one who can fill his shoes.

It's been suggested by AS recently that the Blancos are willing to meet the 34-year-old's wage demands and offer the player a two-year contract to keep him at the club.
