Antonio Conte ask Inter board to use all resource to sign N'Golo Kante from Chelsea

Conte is very keen on a reunion with his former player.

N'Golo Kante has emerged as Inter’s top midfield target this summer with Antonio Conte keen to reunite with the midfielder in Italy.

According to Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri boss has made it clear to the Inter board that Kante is essential to his plans for the club.

The report adds that Chelsea will be willing to negotiate if an offer of at least €50m arrives.

However, the Serie A club does not have the money right now to fund this transfer and will have to sell players to fund a move.

While Gazzetta dello Sport is semi-reliable for Serie A news, we must remember that Inter's sporting director previously said that Kante is not a target.

It has been rumoured that Chelsea are willing to sell Kante to fund a move for Declan Rice, but it looks unlikely that the French international is leaving Stamford Bridge this summer. Follow us on Google newsTwitter and on Facebook
