Arthur has officially been presented as a Juventus player.
The Brazilian believes he was part of a very ambitious project at Barca.
"I can only thank Barcelona, they were very fond of me," Arthur Melo has told Diario Sport before being officially presented as a player of Juventus.
"They treated me very well, as part of a very ambitious project. I thought it could be a boost to my career," the Brazilian also said.
The 24-year-old joined Juventus after being sold for €72m plus €10m in add-ons. During his time at Blaugrana, Arthur recorded 4 goals and 6 assists in 72 matches (via Transfermarkt), helping the team win La Liga and the Spanish Supercopa.
According to various reports, Arthur unwillingly left Barca after the club had refused to extend his deal.
