Barcelona has no offer for Samuel Umtiti: there's risk of letting him leave for free

The Catalans want to part ways with the injury-prone defender who still has a contract for three more years.

Barcelona's exodus strategy doesn't go as planned, Cadena SER reveal.

The Catalans could be forced to let Samuel Umtiti leave for free because they haven't received any offers for the centre-back yet.

The Frenchman is one of the prime contenders to leave this summer due to his hefty salary set at €12m and shocking injury record.

Yet, the only way to get rid of the centre-back could be the termination of his contract which is still valid for three more years.

The 26-year-old is currently valued at €32m yet his chronic knee issues may dissuade any potential buyer.

Last season, he only managed 18 appearances because of the multiple injuries.
